Very little is written for the person in between — someone who prays, who can read the Arabic script slowly, who has meant to fix their recitation for years and has never had anyone listen to it closely enough to say what is wrong.
That gap is what this pillar exists for.

A machine can hear whether you held a madd for the right count. It cannot hear your intention, it does not know your circumstances, and it has no standing to correct your understanding of meaning. Use it for the mechanical part of recitation, which is where it genuinely helps, and take everything else to a person.
