How to tell me something here is wrong, and what happens after you do.
A reference that does not check out, a verse attributed to the wrong surah, a hadith with the wrong number, a translation that misleads, a broken link, a claim that is simply untrue. All of it is worth reporting, and none of it is too small.
Send a correction. It helps if you say which page, and what you believe the right answer is.
One person reads it. Not a support team, not a ticket queue, and there is no promised response time - a promise like that, missed, would be worth less than no promise at all.
Religious content is corrected first. A wrong reference about the deen misleads someone about their faith, which is a different order of mistake from a typo or a crooked layout.
If you are right, the page changes and the correction is not hidden. If I cannot verify it either way, the page will say that the point is uncertain rather than quietly keep the original wording.
These are not the same thing. A wrong hadith number is a correction. A position in fiqh that you hold and this site presents differently is a difference of opinion - and where one exists, the right fix is for the page to say that scholars differ, not to switch to your position or defend its own. Both are worth writing to me about. They are handled differently.
It is one person's work. It is not a scholarly body, it does not issue fatwa, and it has no authority to settle a disagreement between scholars. What it can do is name its sources, so you are able to check anything you read and take it to someone qualified. More about this project.
