What happens to a donation, what it costs to move, and who receives it.

The honest position today

Noor ul Firdaws is not collecting donations yet. No donation buttons are live, no money has been taken, and no causes are being funded. If you see a donate link anywhere on this site that actually processes a payment, it is a mistake — please tell us.

This page exists before the money does, on purpose. How a project handles sadaqa should be written down while nothing is at stake, not improvised once funds are arriving.

How it will work

  1. You give on an external platform Every donate button opens a payment platform in a new tab. Card details are entered there, never on this site. We never see, store or handle your card number.
  2. The platform takes its fee Card processing costs money. Every platform charges a percentage plus a small fixed amount per transaction, and that is deducted before anything reaches us. This is unavoidable, and any charity claiming 100% of a card donation reaches the cause is not counting properly.
  3. The remainder goes to the named cause Each appeal will name the specific cause and the specific recipient organisation. Money raised for one cause is not moved to another.
  4. What happened gets published here Amount raised, fees deducted, amount delivered, and to whom. Published whether the number is impressive or not.
Why there are no figures on this page. Every donation page you have seen with impact statistics earned them. We have not. Publishing invented numbers to look established would be lying to people about their sadaqa, so this page will stay free of statistics until there are real ones to report.

Who receives the money

Noor ul Firdaws is run by one person, in Norway. There is no registered charity or company behind it at present.

That matters, and you should know it before giving anything. It means donations are not tax-deductible, and there is no board or trustee structure providing oversight. Before any donation function goes live, this question will be settled properly — either by registering an appropriate entity, or by routing donations directly to established organisations that already have that structure, so that we never hold the funds at all.

Whichever route is taken, it will be stated plainly on this page before a single donation is accepted.

What we will never do

  • Take card details on this website
  • Publish a figure we cannot evidence
  • Move money raised for one cause to a different one
  • Use donations to fund the commercial parts of this project
  • Describe a fee as zero when a processor has taken one

Until then

If you want to give sadaqa today, give it through an established organisation you already trust. That is a better use of your money right now than waiting for us, and saying so costs us nothing worth keeping.
